This mask, with its large black eye holes and odd-shaped head, screams alien! Make several for your children and their friends and have an alien invasion that’s out of this world.

Time:
  1. 30 minutes or less

Age Group:
  1. 5 - 8

What you'll need:
  • BountyŽ paper towels

  • Hole punch

  • Yarn or ribbon

  • Black marker

  • Scissors

Directions:
  1. Use Bounty paper towels to cover your work space.

  2. Take one full-size paper towel and fold in half. From the bottom of the fold, cut a shape similar to half of a heart. (Except at the top of the shape, cut straight across to the fold.)

  3. Next, cut an oval eye and a small notch for the mouth. Using a hole punch, cut a small hole for the nose.

  4. Punch another hole near the eye, close to the open edge of the paper towel. This will be for the yarn tie.

  5. Open the paper towel. Outline the eyes, nose, and mouth with black marker to add to the "alien" look.

  6. Tie a length of yarn or ribbon to each side hole. Your child will love being from outer space!
