Time:
  1. 30 to 60 minutes

Age Group:
  1. 4 and under

What you'll need:
  • BountyŽ paper towels

  • Plastic foam or paper plate

  • Yarn

  • Coloured markers

  • Scissors

  • Hole punch

  • Paintbrush

  • Paint or crayons

  • Glue

Directions:
  1. Stack several Bounty paper towels together. Cut six ribbons about 40 cm in length and 2 cm in width, using a curved pattern along the edges.

  2. Colour designs on the ribbons with markers. Glue the ribbons to the back of the plate.

  3. Punch a hole on each side of the plate. Thread a piece of yarn through each hole and tie a knot to secure it on the hat. Each piece of yarn should be long enough to tie under the chin.

  4. Using two small paper towels, gather the edges together. Pull the centre of the paper towels down to form a flower. Use paint or crayons to colour the "petals" of the flowers.

  5. Punch a hole in the front edge of the "hat" and insert the flowers around the brim.

  6. Wear with your favourite dress!
