Hold the Pencils!

Do you ever wonder where all your pencils and pens go? Now, you can keep them all in one place. This holder also can be used for crayons or chalk. Make several and have one in every room.

  1. 30 to 60 minutes

Age Group:
  1. 5 - 8

What you'll need:

  • BountyŽ paper towels

  • Spray paint

  • Scissors

  • Pencil

  • Empty vegetable or soup can

  • Stickers or markers

  • Glue


Directions:

  1. Remove the label from the vegetable or soup can.

  2. Spray paint one full-size paper towel and allow to dry.

  3. Fold the paper towel in half lengthwise.

  4. Place the side of the can on the folded edge of the paper towel, and with a pencil, place a mark on the paper towel at the bottom of the can.

  5. Cut the paper towel to match the height of the can.

  6. Wrap the paper towel around the can and glue in place. Decorate with stickers, markers, or other items.
