Paper Towel Doll Quilt

Have your child decorate paper towel squares and tape them together to make a patchwork quilt for a favourite doll, teddy bear, or other furry friend. Won’t Teddy love having his own "blankie" when it’s time to get tucked in at night?

Time:
  1. 30 to 60 minutes

Age Group:
  1. 5 - 8

What you'll need:
  • BountyŽ paper towels (several single, square sheets)

  • Markers or crayons

  • Transparent tape

  • Scrap ribbon (optional)

  • Glue stick (optional)

Directions:
  1. Decide how big you want your quilt to be: one sheet, two sheets, four sheets, etc.

  2. Decorate each single sheet of paper towel to form one square of the quilt. Be creative!

  3. When you’ve finished decorating all of your squares, turn them over and tape them together edge-to-edge on the back to form a single large square.

  4. If you want to embellish your quilt, glue a border of ribbon around the outside edges.
